Beyoncé showed passion and true artistry with her groundbreaking visual album, Lemonade, tackling a multitude of issues and topics, including America post-slavery, being a black woman in America, life in the South, feminism, racism, being cheated, motherhood (especially having daughters), and being a daughter.

ARIGO Music Contributor Sera Pisani adds,

"It is a comprehensive and complete experience of the black woman and every emotion she feels (and is entitled to feel) hence the chapters, 'Intuition,' 'Denial,' 'Anger,' 'Apathy,' 'Emptiness,' 'Loss,' 'Accountability,' 'Reformation,' 'Forgiveness,' 'Resurrection,' 'Hope,' and 'Redemption.' She re-appropriated the 'angry black woman' and made it an iconic sound, image, and performance, and embodied everything she’s not supposed to be in the eyes of society and turned it into art."

Download and watch/listen to Lemonade on iTunes here. We believe this should have won the GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year (and we're happy Adele thinks so too).
